@Mazza La Ragazza As a Catholic, I don't support any President except to the extent that his policies accord with Catholic Social teaching (which Trump's do). I don't care about his personality and don't judge his character anymore than I want mine judged, sinner that I am.
It is not my intention to defend Trump per se with my comment. I just prefer facts, and the Gallup polls are the most accurate.
I am not thrilled with what's going on in Iran. I fear it will explode and lead to WW III -- and the Chastisement by which God will cleanse the earth.
On the other hand, a Catholic friend of mine reminded me about the Battle of Lepanto -- the largest naval battle in history -- which was fought for the same reasons....to suppress the evils and incursions of the Islamic Ottoman empire in Christendom, Europe and the free world....and it was a battle mandated by a Pope and crowned by Our Lady with Victory!
We are in perilous times. This is not about personalities....it's about what is best for the human race in the sight of God.
